Lazy Saturdays

This week Reina judged the Mr./Ms. Eastern pageant at school and one of the contestants was a junior at the age of 20.  He was a junior in the Mathematics Masters Program and EWU at the age of 20. Incredibly brilliant, this kid had started college at the age of 15.

I can imagine that guy knew real stress.

My stressful week was probably nothing compared to the average week of his but regardless, I was thankful it was the weekend. Between school and homework, working at Forza Coffee Company, and the Outside the Box YMCA program I'm helping with it was a pure miracle that I didn't have to work today.

So I took a personal one.

I spent the majority of the morning cleaning, which doesn't exactly sound like a relaxing event but for me, it acts as a form of catharsis.  And other than that.. I didn't really do anything at all. I read for a while, watched an interesting documentary, and took a 3 hour nap.  It's not much but.. it went a long way for a some desperately needed relaxation. I advise y'all do the same some time.

The only thing left for me to do is find some time for photographizing because I haven't had a date with my camera in far too long and I definitely haven't seen any new pictures on my computer. This is a true modern tragedy in the making.

So in light of not doing much today, I'm going to end it here.. Adios.

  1. Very Well done! I really like reading what you write! I don't know if that is because I know you and like reading about what you are doing or your style of writing but I always look forward to what you write next. Just think you might someday write the book that someone learns to read on!!
That would be so awesome! Take care and keep writing!!
